OneScreen for iPad Privacy Policy

This policy describes how the OneScreen for iPad app handles local-network discovery, streaming, purchases, and on-device settings.

What OneScreen Uses

OneScreen for iPad discovers your Mac on the local network, receives a live video stream from your Mac, and can sync remote-control status back to your Mac while you are connected.

Data Stored On This iPad

OneScreen stores your app preferences on this iPad so it can remember items like your iPad name, the last stream you selected, white-balance adjustments, overlay timing, and other local viewing preferences.

Data Shared With Your Mac

While you use the app, OneScreen may send your iPad name plus live status details such as battery level, charging state, screen brightness, receive performance, and control-lock state to the copy of OneScreen running on your Mac. This data is used only to power the local-network monitoring and remote-control features.

App Store Purchases

If you unlock Capture One Controls, the purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. OneScreen uses StoreKit to load product details, make the purchase, and restore previous purchases. Payment information is processed by Apple, not by this app.

What OneScreen Does Not Do

This app does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not upload your usage data to developer-operated servers as part of its normal operation.

Retention And Your Choices

OneScreen keeps local preferences on this iPad until you change them or remove the app. Live stream and local-network control data are used only while your devices are communicating. You can stop sharing local-network data at any time by leaving the stream, turning off Local Network access for OneScreen in iPad Settings, or removing the app from your devices.
